Our Staff

Our clients enjoy nature and their properties thanks to the meticulous work of our employees in the field. Every day, in every kind of weather, they demonstrate our core values of preparation, responsibility, respect and excellence.

When you contact our business office, you’re likely to reach a member of our seasoned management team:

Sean Tunney came to America from Zimbabwe in 1997. Drawing on a background in agriculture, management and sales, he founded Lazy Weekends Yard Care Services in Edenton, NC in 2000. The business grew and diversified, and today offers the most complete range of services of any comparable business in the region. Sean is a North Carolina Licensed Landscape Contractor (# 0739).

After working in construction management and irrigation installation, Edenton native Jason Potts became Sean’s partner in 2006. Jason supervises landscape installation and hardscape construction. He also has his NC landscape contractor license (# 3075).

Landscape designer Pam Lowney came to Lazy Weekends in 2008. She has a certificate in landscape design and management from Tidewater Community College in Virginia and is a North Carolina Licensed Landscape Contractor (#3045).

Office manager Sam Doughton, a former business owner herself, also joined Lazy Weekends in 2008. She handles scheduling, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
